As part of the BSIA's Technology Governance Initiative, this student-focused initiative was established in 2023 to provide graduate students with a unique opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of the technology-policy nexus—an interface that has become essential for effective policy analysis and implementation.
This two-week in-person intensive program is designed as an interdisciplinary course for graduate students at Canadian universities with backgrounds in policy, social sciences, and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). The program features presentations from leading academic experts and practitioners in technology, science and policy. It addresses relevant domains and discourses that support technology innovation, alongside the issues, datasets, and trends underpinning this increasingly significant area.
