In April 2021, the BSIA launched the Balsillie Executive Institute (BEI) to offer certificate-based professional development short courses in international public policy and global governance topics. These courses are perfect for those looking to upgrade their skills, without a commitment to full-time education.
BEI’s suite of courses vary in length and delivery style. Current offerings include:
Courses: Ranging from 4 days to 2 weeks in duration, these certificate-based courses cater to middle- and senior-level careerists interested in enhancing their skills and remaining abreast of sector-specific multidisciplinary thinking.
Masterclasses: These 3-hour condensed courses cater to careerists of all levels seeking expert knowledge on domain-specific topics. Each masterclass covers key concepts and issues, trends, challenges, and approaches to problem-solving.
OnDemand Modules: A flexible, self-paced learning series designed for professionals and policymakers interested in Digital Policy Innovation. With eight modules available, learners can explore individual topics or follow a structured program, culminating in a recognized micro-credential.
Custom Courses: The BEI also offers bespoke course delivery, which can be tailored to suit specific organizational needs in terms of course content, length, and mode of delivery.
