The Balsillie School of International Affairs (BSIA), in collaboration with the School of International Service (SIS) at the American University in Washington, D.C. is pleased to host the first Technology Governance Policy Challenge for BSIA and SIS students. This unique challenge, hosted over two days, offers an opportunity for students to engage with critical issues in the evolving landscape of technology governance.
In its inaugural year, the Policy Challenge will feature teams representing the BSIA and SIS. The teams will review a case study authored by BSIA MAGG graduate and AU assistant professor Samantha Bradshaw entitled “Technology Governance Policy Challenge: Combating a Coordinated Disinformation Campaign.”
The teams will prepare a two-page policy brief, which will be submitted to the judges prior to the event. The teams will then present their findings during the event with feedback from the judges.
