Holly Davis is a graduate student in the Masters of International Public Policy program at the Balsillie School of International Affairs. She recently graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University, earning an honors bachelor of arts in Political Science. It was throughout her time in this undergraduate degree that she developed a passion for international affairs, particularly with regards to the environmental field.
Holly has fervently pursued her interests within the academic environment, taking part in clubs such as the Women Leading Politics Association to further her understanding of the intersectionality of political issues. Outside of academia, she has also participated in volunteer initiatives with the City of Waterloo in order to improve the physical environment of the community around her.
While completing the MIPP program, Holly hopes to broaden her knowledge of global governance and how it can be utilized as a tool to enact sustainable practices worldwide. She is looking forward to exploring the topics of environmental resources, international economic relations, and human security.
