Farhad Khosrojerdi earned his Ph.D. in Information Technology and Computer Science from Université du Québec en Outaouais (UQO). Pursuing a new research interest at the intersection of AI and policymaking, he is currently enrolled in the Master of International Public Policy program at the Balsillie School of International Affairs. He also holds an M.Sc. in Project Management, a B.Sc. in Power Electrical Engineering, and professional designations as both a PMP and a P.Eng.
Throughout his academic journey, he has explored renewable energy systems, ontology models, and optimization techniques, reflecting a strong interdisciplinary approach that integrates information technology, project management, and digital transformation. He developed a decision-making, rule-based model to support solar power plant project planning. With more than two decades of industry experience, he bridges academic research with applied practice, offering insights into how emerging technologies can advance sustainable development and policy innovation.
His broader goal is to contribute to climate change resilience, sustainability, and governance through digital technologies and innovative solutions.
