Emily Ferk serves as the Events and Social Media Coordinator. She oversees event logistics and assists with special projects alongside the Manager. She also manages social media content creation, strategies, and analytics for the Balsillie School.

She holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a Research Specialization from Wilfrid Laurier University, where her research focused on forced migration, statelessness, and the rights of vulnerable persons.

Before joining the Balsillie School, Emily worked as a Student Gallery Assistant at the Robert Langen Art Gallery, working closely with the curator to support exhibitions and art programming.

Outside work, Emily enjoys watching her favourite shows, painting, and walking in nature. Painting is one of her passions; it provides a creative outlet that helps clear her mind. Whether experimenting with new techniques or reflecting on her surroundings, painting allows Emily to stay engaged with the world and maintain a balanced perspective.
