Johanna Wilkes is a Ph.D. candidate in the Global Environmental Stream at the Balsillie School of International Affairs (BSIA). Prior to starting her doctoral studies, Johanna served as a member of the policy team to the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Minister of Infrastructure. During her tenure, she helped to facilitate dialogue on policy and ways to empower community-led solutions.
