The Conflict and Security Cluster is pleased to introduce an academic development workshop titled “Navigating Difficult Conversations in Academia in Times of Peace and Conflict.” This session is designed to equip BSIA graduate students with essential skills for managing challenging discussions that arise in the course of scholarly research.

Led by BSIA Director Professor Ann Fitz-Gerald and Dr. Andrew Thompson, this interactive workshop will delve into research-driven strategies for presenting fact-based analysis and facilitating constructive dialogue on emotionally sensitive topics. Whether engaging in academic research, presentations, or debates, participants will gain valuable tools and methodologies to approach their research with confidence and rigor.
