BSIA students named finalists in Map the System Global Competition

A warm congratulations to five BSIA students in the Master of Development Practice program, who have secured both the Overall Winner and the People’s Best Systems Map Award at the Map the System competition.

Sadia Mohammad, Prishaa Rajalathan, Bria Wong-Armstrong, Chloe Stroh, and Zoraiz Sheikh explored how occupational gender shifts can contribute to the devaluation of entire industries. The project was developed as part of a shared course examining the structural inequities women face in the workplace.

The team has been named a finalist and will travel to the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford this July to compete in the Map the System Global Finals. Good luck!

The BSIA is closed Monday, January 26th due to severe weather and local travel conditions.
