William Fyfe is the General Counsel of Brookfield Renewable North America, where he oversees legal compliance, risk management, corporate governance and transaction execution matters. He has also held a variety of other positions at Brookfield over the years, including serving as the General Counsel of TerraForm Power. Prior to joining Brookfield in 2014, he worked at leading law firms in New York, London and Toronto, with a focus on the energy sector. William holds an LL.B. and B.C.L. from McGill University. As a member of the Inaugural Advisory Forum, he brings expertise in renewable energy transactions, corporate governance, risk management and the legal frameworks required to advance large-scale clean energy infrastructure.
