Having recently graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with a BA in Psychology and Ethics, Ernesto is excited to be getting back into academia and further his studies of global issues and the ways in which people are interconnected. For several years now he has participated in Model United Nations, both at the high school and university level which alongside an opportunity he had to be a research assistant has shaped his research interests of international organizations, global history and human security. A newfound interest in community development has additionally arisen due to the current protests in Portland, OR and the reaction to it from state actors.
