The upcoming Balsillie Survey 2026 will provide important empirical data and analyses on the governance of General Purpose Technology infrastructure across critical Canadian sectors. For the purpose of this research, the GPT infrastructure comprises AI, data, quantum compute, cybersecurity, intellectual property and standards. The BSIA is collecting data and analyses reflecting technology governance and policy-related feedback from Canada’s technology stakeholders.
