Emily Ferk is the Events and Social Media Coordinator at the Balsillie School of International Affairs. She supports the planning and execution of a wide range of events, including conferences, workshops, seminars, and community programming, working closely with internal teams, partners, and vendors.
She manages digital communications for the School and the Balsillie Executive Institute, overseeing social media content creation, strategy, and performance tracking. She also develops the School’s weekly Bulletin, contributes to website content, and produces promotional materials to support events, research, and institutional initiatives.
Her work spans both strategy and execution, including campaign development, audience engagement, digital content production, and reporting.
Emily holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (Research Specialization) with a minor in Women and Gender Studies from Wilfrid Laurier University, where her research focused on forced migration, statelessness, and the rights of vulnerable populations in the Balkans.
