Daniel Manyoki

Master of Arts in Global Governance

 

Daniel Manyoki is a student at the Balsillie School of International Affairs in the Masters of Arts in Global Governance Program. He graduated from Carleton University with Distinction in History and a minor in Classics. Throughout his undergraduate degree, Daniel focused primarily on the political and sociological aspects of states. He has been published in academic journals regarding his research on the interactions between Roman religion and the state within late antiquity, as well as on early modern European military logistics.

His current research focuses on state security and global trade. With primary emphasis on analyzing multilateral institutions, such as the United Nations Security Council and the World Trade Organization, to understand the effects of institutionally-regulated global trade on national security and vice-versa.

After completing his undergrad, Daniel worked within the Canadian federal government as a junior analyst for Public Service and Procurement Canada.
