Alexander White is a student in the Masters of International Public Policy program at the Balsillie School of International Affairs. He graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with a bachelor of arts in economics and a minor in history. During his studies there he worked on issues relating to inequality and criminal justice. He is deeply interested in international economic affairs and public policy, and enjoys learning about global history. Outside of classes paid close attention to global affairs, often attending events at BSIA that were open to the public.
Alexander plans to specialize in international economic relations and human security during the MIPP program. He is eager to build on his understanding of economics from his undergraduate degree and learn how to apply that understanding in a policy context. Beyond economics Alexander is interested in a breadth of different policy issues, including healthcare, climate change, and global conflicts. Alexander is always excited to connect with people with different experiences and backgrounds and is driven to learn more about global affairs.
Alexander hopes to find work relating to international affairs after completing his degree at the Balsillie School.
