Halfway through their 15-year implementation period, the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals are in trouble, knocked off course by the COVID-19 pandemic and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Despite this, the key challenges that the SDG’s seek to address – from poverty to food security to climate change – have not gone away. This workshop brings together researchers working on various aspects of the 17 SDGs, and invites them to reflect on their own research and on the extent to which the Goals still offer a viable roadmap for sustainable global development.
