PhD in Global Governance

Master of International Public Policy, 2021

William Gillam completed both his BSc. Environmental Sciences and MSc. Geography at the University of Guelph, finishing the latter in 2017. For his MSc. William studied the impacts of agricultural development on landscape stability over the 10,000 years of agrarian history in Europe. Since completing his thesis William has worked in a variety of different industries including: renewable energy, indigenous affairs, public health, community development, and rural internet. Currently, William works in network integration, with the purpose of developing strong networks to solve OneHealth problems facing different facets of society. Coming into the MIPP program William hopes to pivot into the environmental security, applying his science background into helping prevent future conflict in the face of climate change.
