Dr. Rohit Ramchandani is CEO of Antara Global Health Advisors and an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Global Health Innovation at the University of Waterloo School of Public Health and Health Systems. With over 15 years of experience working in global health and development, including 8 years with senior levels of experience designing, managing, implementing and evaluating complex and strategic programs, he is a recognized expert in global health and human-centred design for development, implementation science, monitoring and evaluation, public-private partnerships, and scaling. His clients have included Global Affairs Canada, USAID, DFID UK, DFAT Australia, WHO, Johnson & Johnson, Aga Khan Foundation and others. He has worked in multiple LMIC contexts, including Guyana, India, Zambia, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, and more.
Ramchandani holds a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, a Masters of Public Health (MPH) from Boston University School of Public Health and a BSc in Health Studies & Gerontology from the University of Waterloo. He sits on the Board of Directors of the Jane Goodall Institute of Canada and is an alumnus of the Governor General’s Canadian Leadership Conference.
