2019 International Humanitarian Law in Action Conference

Join us as we explore the role that International Humanitarian Law (IHL) plays in dealing with contemporary challenges to the protection of civilians in the situation of armed conflict. The conference will bring together experts from the field of IHL including academics, practitioners and representatives from the Red Cross / Red Crescent Movement. Conference flyer

 

With opening address by David Crane, founding prosecutor of the Special Court for Sierra Leone.

Lebanon: Akkar camp, 4 January 2017 Lebanese Red Cross volunteers discusses health and hygiene issues with a Syrian women living in a refugee camp in northern Lebanon. Lebanese Red Cross provide assistance for Syrian refugees living in Lebanon.
