Rachael Gergely coordinates the Masters of Global Governance and PhD in Global Governance programs, supporting students within the Balsillie School and managing new student inquiries and applications.
Rachael started her career in academics working at Wilfrid Laurier University in 2023. She acted as Program Officer, School of International Policy and Governance (MIPP, PhD) where she found a passion for advising students. She also acted as Assistant to the Dean in Lazaridis Hall where she gained experience facilitating communication between the Dean, staff, faculty, and students.
Prior to her career in academics, Rachael spent three years at Mohawk College where she graduated from the Legal Office Administration program. While attending college she started a five-year Automotive career building the Carolla and the Rav4 for Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada.
Thoroughly enjoying working on cars, while employed with Toyota, Rachael began learning how to build high performance race motors and cars in her spare time, which continues today. Her passion solidifies a strong attention to detail which she brings to the Balsillie School of International Affairs.
