Leah is a PhD candidate in Global Governance at the Balsillie School of International Affairs. Her area of specialization is Global Political Economy, focused primarily on the global wine industry and trade.
Prior to her doctoral candidacy, Leah completed her Masters of Arts at SOAS, University of London, in the UK, where her research was focused on interdisciplinary approaches to interpreting multinational corporations. Her area of research focused on the use of control power and education used to create the magical world of Disney.
Since completing her MA, Leah has worked as a consultant across industries including security and project management for corporate growth and government. More recently Leah has worked in the alcohol industry managing and growing a small sangria company based in Portugal. Her work experience in conjunction with her love of international studies have been great influences and guidance for her current research area.
