Kendra Shields is a recent graduate of the University of Ottawa, completing a Joint Honours Bachelor of Social Science in Political Science and Economics. During her studies, Kendra worked at various federal government departments. This work provided her with invaluable experience in international affairs and sparked a newfound passion for public policy.
Kendra has fostered a keen interest in political economy, global migration, and the impact of international policy on the lives of everyday citizens at home and abroad. While at Balsillie School of International Affairs, she hopes to develop her research and analytical skills and gain insight into the systems and institutions through which Canada operates on a global stage.
