Azam Asilian Bidgoli is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Science at Wilfrid Laurier University (WLU), Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. Prior to her current position at WLU, she held a similar role as an Assistant Professor at Laurentian University. Additionally, she worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Ontario Tech University in Oshawa, Canada, where she collaborated with a research team at the University of Waterloo on an Ontario Research Fund (ORF) project. She earned her Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Kashan, Kashan, Iran, in 2020. Her research activities encompass Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Evolutionary Computation. She has developed innovative evolutionary algorithms, and her contributions have found applications across diverse domains, including healthcare systems, scientometrics, mathematics, and visualization. She is the author of a significant number of peer-reviewed publications in her field.
