Canada’s Innovation Future

This event will feature opening remarks from Michel Paulin, Chief Executive Officer of OVHcloud, Jim Balsillie, Former Chief Executive Officer of BlackBerry and Founder of the BSIA and CIGI, Michel Miraillet, French Ambassador in Canada, and Aaron Shull, Managing Director and General Counsel at CIGI. It will be followed by an expert panel discussing the challenges and opportunities shaping today’s technological landscape, exploring how to balance innovation with regulation to ensure a trusted and sustainable digital future.

The expert panel includes:

Vass Bednar, Executive Director, Master of Public Policy in Digital Society, McMaster University

Matt Malone, Balsillie Scholar and Incoming Director at the Canadian Internet Policy and Public Interest Clinic, University of Ottawa Faculty of Law

Benjamin Revcolevschi, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, OVHcloud

David Skok, Founder of The Logic

and will be moderated by Ann Fitz-Gerald, Director, Balsillie School of International Affairs.

Following the event, we welcome you to a lunch reception to network with industry leaders and peers in an inviting setting.
