Dr. Hanzhi YU is a tenured associate professor at the School of Public Affairs of Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China. Dr YU holds a Ph.D. in public policy and management from Tsinghua University. Prior to joining Zhejiang University, Dr YU was a post-doctoral fellow in the Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI). Her research field is global governance and international public policy, specifically focusing on the multi-actors’ participation in global public affairs, and the governance of emerging technologies. Her research has been published in journals like International Affairs, Global Governance, Global Policy, PNAS, Science and Public Policy, Journal of Chinese Governance, Sustainable Development and Social Science in China (in Chinese). She is the author of book titled Evolution of Regime Complex in Global Governance: A Case Study on Human Genetic Information (China Social Sciences Press, 2020)
