Anjali Karishma Patel is a recent graduate from the University of Warwick in the UK. She possesses both an MA in International Relations and a BA (Hons) in English Literature from the university.
As an undergraduate student, Anjali was able to forge links between the state of international affairs with World Literature which encouraged her to pursue courses outside of her faculty, allowing for a more interdisciplinary understanding of Global Politics. The convergence between History, Politics and Literature has encouraged her study of global mass migration, the evolution of states and the effectiveness of intergovernmental organisations.
Aside from academics, Anjali has volunteered at her university within the advice centre, abroad in Nicaragua and has explored the legal profession through work experience initiatives at global law firms. She hopes to continue to pursue her interest in global affairs through the BSIA programme.
